These free to attend, annual open community events are a celebration of encouraging young minds to interact, explore and enjoy a festival style event under a single theme hosted at Cranford School. This autumn we will be hosting our eighth year of Junior Discovery Days. Visiting parents and families from Pre-School to Year 6 are welcome to join in the sights, sounds and activities across the school grounds on the day. Local reputation has spread over the years and it is an event to be marked in the calendar.
A big thank you to all of the children and families who attended our most epic Junior Day of Discovery to date. Saturday 4 November 2023 was as memorable for the turbulent weather as the expressions on children's faces as they made the most of all of the sporting festivities across the school. From flame throwing entertainment at the BMX Stunt Show to one-on-one hockey drills with Team GB Hockey players Lizzie Neal and Alex Malzer.
On behalf of the charity Mary's Meals, we would also like to thank all of our generous exhibitors from RoboKeeper, joining us from Cologne, Germany to Transend Skatepark from West Yorkshire. Together with our always charitable attendees, we collectively raised vital funds to help support education and good nutrition in over 20 countries worldwide.
Thank you for making our Junior Day of Discovery so memorable, and we hope to see you next year!
