Our expeditions and trips provision provides pupils with exciting opportunities to develop self-confidence, build friendships and enjoy exploration and adventure within a safe framework. Pupils are provided with opportunities to take part in day and residential activities where they can participate in adventure sports ranging from kayaking to abseiling, climbing, orienteering, mountain biking, hiking, shelter building and much more besides.
Our Senior School pupils benefit from an incredible selection of trips and expeditions, both at home and overseas.
From World Challenge adventures in far-flung corners of the world to alpine Ski Trips and Sports Tours across Europe, these opportunities allow our students to immerse themselves in another language and culture, broadening their understanding of the world around them and inspiring a life-long love of travel and adventure!
I had so much fun on the ski trip to Italy, it was great learning a new skill and taking on something I never thought I'd be able to do! I had so much fun with my friends and can't wait to go on the next ski trip! Year 8 Pupil
The Cricket Tour in sunny Spain was an incredible experience, we had the chance to use a professional ECB facility and share the training ground with the Lancashire Men's Cricket Team. We all learned a lot and had lots of fun playing Cricket, swimming, heading to the gym and making the most of everything Desert Springs had to offer. Year 11 Pupil
The range of trips on offer at Cranford has been a really wonderful opportunity for my children as they've grown up through the school - it really broadens their horizons and builds their independence. The school is really good at providing a range of opportunities and ensuring there is something for everyone. Parent Year 12
