Senior Trips & Visits

Our expeditions and trips provision provides pupils with exciting opportunities to develop self-confidence, build friendships and independence. Pupils are provided with opportunities to take part in day and residential activities where they can participate in adventure sports ranging from kayaking to abseiling, climbing, orienteering, mountain biking, hiking, shelter building and much more besides.

    Our Senior School pupils benefit from an incredible selection of trips and expeditions, both at home and overseas.

    From World Challenge adventures in far-flung corners of the world to alpine Ski Trips and opportunities to immerse themselves in another language and culture, our exciting programme aims to challenge, inspire and broaden our pupils' experience of the world.

    Day Trips & Residentials

    • World Challenge expedition - previous far-flung destinations include Borneo, Morocco and Thailand
    • Geography Fieldwork trip - an annual trip to explore the dramatic geography of North Wales
    • French Language trip - a chance to explore language and culture in Northern France
    • Performing Arts trip - a chance to explore the sights and sounds of New York and take in Broadway
    • German exchange - a biannual exchange with our partner school in Hamburg 
    • Science trip - an incredible chance to visit NASA, the Epcot Centre and Universal Studios in Orlando
    • Art & Textiles trips - previous destinations include St Ives and Kew Gardens
    • Spanish Language trip - a biannual trip to major Spanish cities such as Barcelona
    • Ski trip - our biannual trip heads off to the Italian slopes
    • Choir Tour - this biannual trip sees Choir members singing in some of Europe's most historic cathedrals
