Cranford offers a broad and varied GCSE curriculum offer. Pupils typically study 10 GCSE subjects with English, Mathematics, Science being compulsory. Students are encouraged to study one Humanity and one Modern Foreign Language, but this is not compulsory. All pupils have PE in their weekly timetable, even if they are not studying it for GCSE, along with weekly lessons which cover careers, life skills and preparation for Sixth Form or life beyond Cranford.
We are particularly proud of the individual care and attention that is given to pupils as they arrive in Year 9 and faced with making these choices. Our aim is to provide a bespoke and tailored approach that supports students in making informed choices and enables families to be fully involved in the process throughout.
